The North West Ruby User Group is a group of enthusiasts of the Ruby programming language, based in the North West of England. The site is dedicated to keeping members posted of events and other Ruby-based happenings.

Booths & Waitrose 23.09.08

We are delighted to finally announce that we have been contracted by specialist supermarket chains Booths and Waitrose to provide development consulting for their recently announced buying alliance.

The contract includes the development of an application to share cost and deal structure information for branded food purchased by both supermarkets, allowing them to benefit from greater economies of scale.

Music Ally — Data Tools Project 19.09.08

As one of the research leaders in the field of digital music, Music Ally track many areas of the industry for key deals and trends. We built a Rails-based application to allow them to more easily track, store and make this data available to their subscribers, who include the likes of Universal, Sony and EMI.
